We love California! We had so much fun staying in are condo right on the beach.

There is nothing better then to get out of the cold weather and take a trip to the happiest place on earth. We had so much fun and loved every minute of are trip. This is Brooklyn second trip to Disneyland and she is only 15 months old. We stayed a block away and had two fun days at Disneyland.

Brooklyn loved all of the rides. I can't believe how many rides she could go on.

Brooklyn's all time favorite was to play in the water. She could play in it all day if we let her.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great Christmas with family. On Christmas eve we had Trent's family over for a party. On Christmas morning we went over to my parents house to talk to my brother and to have breakfast. We had a wonderful talk with my brother and now I can't wait until he gets home. (8 months)

Brooklyn just loves going to the Jazz games. I can't tell you if she likes the cheering or the popcorn better but she will sit on your lap the whole time. She won't even sit on my lap at church so if anyone has any idea please let me know. We are lucky to have season Jazz tickets on the 12th row and have enjoyed them the past 3 years. This year we has sold over half of them witch still leave plenty of games to attend. GO JAZZ!!!!

How come things break in three's?

How come when anything breaks you can count on two more things breaking in the next couple of days. (#1) Two Saturday's ago my husband was moving are office down stairs. He unplugged the computer and moved it down stairs. When he plugged it back in it would not turn on. $80 later the computer is now up and running. (#2) Later that night we wanted to watch a movie and the dvd would not turn on. (#3) On Monday I started a load of laundry and the washer would not spin instead is was making a loud banging sound. I finally got a new washer on Friday. I can't believe how much laundry you can have in just one week.

SICK!!

What a week!!! My little girl has been sick for 2 weeks. On Tuesday she received her one year old shots. She almost had to wait because she had a cold. The doctor decide to go ahead and give her the shots. On Friday Brooklyn started run a temp of 100 to 103 it lasted until Sunday. I never felt so helpless in my life as I watch my little girl lay in my arms crying because she doesn't feel good. On Monday we took her to the doctors because she still looks like she doesn't feel good the doctor prescribed amoxicillin in hopes to help her feel better. We came home and gave her some and an hour latter she had a rash all over her body. After calling a friend in the ward found out that she will be just fine and that it will take awhile for the rash to go away. I called the nurse this morning and she is undetermined were the rash came from. Brooklyn is allergic to milk, ice cream, soap, lotion, and most likely many other things. Today she is feeling much better since she has eaten breakfast witch she has not done since Friday.

HUNTING / CAMPING

Camping one of my least favorite things to do. After this weekend it is still on the bottom of my list. On the flip side my husband and my daughter had a great time so I guess there is something wrong with me. (my husband told me to write that.) So, if you can tell my husband shot his elk and I still don't understand what's good and exciting about it. I drove around and looked with him I even got out of my truck and hiked around with Brooklyn looking for the elk. Help!! I still don't understand what is so great about hunting and killing a beautiful animal. I guess the one thing that I have leaned from the 6 years of being married is that I will never fully understand my husband but I love him anyways.

Walking

Brooklyn is walking!!

Brooklyn is 10 1/2 months old and is now walking. Good thing she not running. I know that will come soon. She has became my little independent girl. She much rather feed herself and she thinks she can help you change her dipper (help). I didn't think they became independent this early I thought I had until she was 1 but boy was I wrong. She has learned to pluck the hair out of her fuzzy books and also don't hand her anything because she can open about anything with her teeth. We love you Brooklyn!!

Brooklyn is trying to walk, or should I say Brooklyn is walking. She can now take up to 3-5 steps without holding on to your hand. I'm excited for this new step in her development but also scared for when she starts running from me. I can see it now setting in church and watching my daughter make a bee line for the stage. She is 10 months old and I still want her to be my little baby. She is always on the move just like her dad. I can't believe how fast time goes.

Las Vegas

Last week we decide to go to Vegas to see my grandparents. We drove all the way there wich was more then 6 hours in the car. Brooklyn did so good. On the way back we decide that we would spend the night in Cedar City. We had to stop many times to fill up on natural gas. Witch took us longer to get to are destination but it only cost around $60 round trip on natural gas.

I heard some banging and found Brooklyn had climbed up on to her chair and was rocking back and forth. Her new past time is to climb on anything that is in her path. Did I tell you, she is not afraid of any height. She will dive off our bed if we let her.

We went to the parade on Saturday in Lehi and Brooklyn had so much fun. Her favorite part was the marching bands. Every time they would come Brook would have to stand-up in your lap and dance. By the end she was so tired, it didnt help she was an hour past her nap. She could not fall asleep until the parade was over.

Brooklyn is a big help in cleaning under the bed.

Dad taught her how to drink out of a cup when she was 4 months old (if you don't believe me I have a video). She much rather have a cup then a bottle or sippy cup any day.
Brooklyn much rather play in her crib then sleep.

Saturday we went up canyon and had a barbeque. We had so much fun just relaxing after a long day of working in the yard. If anyone would love to have dinner up the canyon let me know we go about every weekend.

Today Brooklyn and I went swimming with Joni and Madi, then we went to Costco. Madi wanted to sit by Brooklyn, so they rode in the same cart. Brooklyn loves her (as you can see)!

Trent has been having so much fun playing with his nephew on all of his toys. I think he was a little scared because he was holding on for dear life when they were moving but when he got off he said that it was fun.

BROOKLYN'S FIRST FALL!!

Brooklyn's first fall and most likely not her last. We were at my sister's house were she has a split level. There are two stairs from her family room to the kitchen and Brooklyn loves to climb them. If you can tell she didn't go down them quite so gracefully, as she went up them.

Brooklyn's first boating trip. She flipped out when we put the life jacket on her. After a couple of minutes of flipping out she went to sleep and sleeped most of the time. She woke up at the very end and decided that it wasn't to bad.

Brooklyn loves dogs!! We have two pomerians and she loves them so much. She like to spend most of the day trying to get them thru there cage. Good thing they can move quick. If she gets a hold of them she most likely has a hand full of hair. I am so glad that they are so good with her. Bear a little smarter then Sassy if you can tell. Bear runs outside, but Sassy trys her luck with Brooklyn.

Brooklyn's new word "Da Da Da Da Da"

We went to the doctor a week ago to get her 6 months shots and on the question packet there was a question that asked if she was saying da da. I marked no and then I thought maybe I will try and see if she could say it. After about 10 seconds she started saying da da and would not stop. The doctor walked in and couldn't believe that she had just started saying it. The whole time the doctor is checking her all she could say was da da da da over and over again. Now all she ask for is da da da da da. How fast they learn new things.

Last time I let Dad change her pants. She came back with the pants on her head.

I let Brooklyn play with my cell phone for a few minute while I open the door for Trent. When I came back she had answered a call from Grandma and was trying to talk to her on the phone. Six months old and already knows how to talk on the phone boy I am in trouble. I better get more minutes on my phone.

Brooklyn's cousin Carson came over to play. I can't believe at this age they could both want the same toy. I tried to get them to play with other toys but they both wanted to play with the keys. I am just gald that they took turns sticking it in there mouth without fighting.

On Wensday she woke-up and of course I had to check, and there was her first tooth peeking thru her gums. On Friday I had to check to see if there was any progress and to my suprise there was two teeth peeking thru. Now I under stand why she was so fussy all week.

Brook has had a big week. On top of getting two teeth she has started sleeping thru the night. Thanks to her dad who started feeding her oatmeal every night before bed.
She started on top of the blanket and when I looked back the blanket was on top of her. It was so cute she was hiding under the blanket and playing with her toys.
We start the morning with daily push-ups.

I would say the best part of having a baby is to watch them grow. Each stage is so fun. You can't wait until the next one comes. Brooklyn has been learning everything so fast. She started to roll over when she was 4 months old. Now she is almost 6 months old and is trying so hard to crawl. She has been rocking back and forth for two week. Now it is time to baby proof the house.

I didn't know that there were so many ways to play with a toy, untill Brooklyn showed me.Having fun with Daddy. I left the room and when I returned I found them both sleeping. If only she would do that for me.

MY FIRST EASTER

We dressed Brooklyn up in her Easter dress for church and everyone thought she was so cute.
Brooklyn first Easter basket (Mom and Dad get to eat the candy but she did get some toys from Grandpa and Grandma).

We took a trip to costco and what do we find but the Easter bunny. So of we just had to take a picture.

BROOKLYN'S FIRST MEAL

Brooklyn's first meal was so fun by the time we were done there was more food on her face then in her mouth. She has gotten a lot better but has something against green food. She will not eat pea or green beans we have to mix them with something else so she doesn't know she is eating them.

ARE LIFE CHANGED ON OCT. 23, 2007 WHEN ARE LITTLE GIRL WAS BORN.

After 12 hours they had to take her c-section and later put into ICU for 48 hours.
